Badacsonytomaj City Beach and Badacsony Beach await their guests this summer with a beautiful exterior, constantly renewed services, a lido beach, and a large green area.
The beautifully landscaped green area and the sports fields (volleyball, football field) designed for those who prefer active recreation, a large playground, a sandbox, a lido beach section, water sports equipment, and free internet all try to satisfy the needs of our guests. We also constantly organize sports and children’s programs, as part of which we have been participating in the Mozdulj Balaton program series for years. Within this framework, we organize sports competitions 10 times, and 1 main animator (on weekends) also organizes meaningful programs for young and old.
We place great emphasis on the safety of our guests (free use of safes, frequent police presence, continuous supervision and care by trained Lifeguards and Red Cross rescuers, security cameras at the cash desks), and on environmentally conscious operation (selective waste collection). Barrier-free toilets and showers await guests, and special signage makes it easier for the visually impaired to find their way around. With the cooperation of the local government, new information devices, outdoor cabins and stairs to access the water were purchased in previous years from tender funds, and the green area (grass carpet, irrigation system) and the water block were renewed on the Badacsonytomaj beach. The existing paving stone was renovated on Badacsony Beach, and new waste collection containers, benches, tables, a total of 5 swimming piers were purchased on both beaches, and the internet access (wifi) was also improved.
A family changing room, a baby-mother room, and a so-called Culture Corner were created on each beach, where adults can read and children can play.
So that anglers can also enjoy the opportunities offered by Lake Balaton, it is also possible to rent a fishing pier at Badacsonytomaj City Beach during ticket office hours.

Access:
Badacsonytomaj City Beach:
The beach is easily accessible and barrier-free. It has one entrance and one exit. We can provide free parking for about 60 cars near the entrance, within 100 m. The snack bar, sports fields and toilets are located next to the entrance building, and 80 m from the entrance.
It is also easy to access by public transport, the train station and the bus stop are also about a 5-minute walk away.
Badacsony Strand ( Egry József Strand ):
The beach is easily accessible and barrier-free. It has one entrance and one exit. There are two paid parking lots 50 m from the entrance, which can accommodate 150 cars. The snack bar, sports fields and toilets are located next to the entrance building.
It is also easy to access by public transport, the train station and the bus stop are also about a 2-minute walk away.
